Worked long night or till the morning of the next day it seems. Every join in my body longed for a nice soft bed in replace of a straight chair. By noon, we get the tender wrapped up and ready to be delivered. I chose to deliver the documents myself together with my ever loyal assistant. We agreed to then have lunch at Madam Kwan's, had nasi lemak and all. By the time we finish with lunch, our table was then approached by an old Sikh
who immediately started a chat with us... A fortune teller it seems.. wat da ya know. Immediately he sees me he spotted the troubles on my face.. because he said I think too much. Offerred to read my palm and I thot.. y not!? Just give it a try lah, see what this guy has to offer. He then tore a piece of paper and wrote somethin in it and place it in the middle of my palm. Then he wrote like 3 number 2 3 & 4. Reading my palm, he saw that I am to live until 85. Money, am not gonna get rich, I'll get money fairly easily but I'd finish them equally easy. He says I'll be getting 3 happiness or something about something that will make me happy will happen soon.

Things..as it were..
It will be too complex for a simple mind to fathom how our solar system really works and why it was created that way. Its too complex that most decided to leave it to scientists or any nerd who thinks its cool to be spending his/ her entire life studying something lightyears away. Then, there's the real life.. the one we live in every day. We wonder sometimes why we do things that we do; take it another level, why people do what they do; take it another level, why some people that crosses our path do what they did to us.
Do we have this nick in ourselves to leave marks wherever we go? Wanna be remembered.. those sort of things. Can't they just pass through without causing any ripple to anyone's thoughts as to why they do what they did and who really benefited from such encounter in the end. We believe that nothing that happens in this world are without reason. So, there we go.. searching.. pondering whether there's really any significant purpose of our existence in someone's life.. someone's space..and time.
The thing about life.. there's never one simple answer to it. In any event that came upon us, there are multitude of reasoning as to why we had to go through certain things. If its a good thing.. is it a reward? is it a test? is it a prelude to something else which can be good or bad? Same thing if was a not so good a thing. same clear questions with rarely (almost never) any simple answers. I can understand (although I don't necessarily condone it) why some of us chose the easy way out to it. 'follow the flow', intoxicate our mind to achieve that temporary peace, ignore it completely, and when none of that works.. suicide.. (again I must emphasis that this should never be the option).
We've all had our moments of happiness, pain and agony.. rarely any moment of mere peace and calmness.. a total oblivion to any form of senses to feel. When we thought that we are contented (regardless whether its something we cherish or mere tolerate) with what we have, we are lead to sample a greater sense of taste from what we have. If we use to eat just rice and fish.. and we are not complaining about it, we are then by circumstances subtly designed to try sweeter things like deserts. Why must we get the chance to sample such thing when all that will happen to us when we liked it too much, is destruction to our own. We are always told that we must never liked anything too much.. but why? IF we can't, why are we introduced to it in the first place! Rice and fish is just fine.. we don't necessarly enjoy it so much but we are alright. We can survive that way. Wont get hurt, wont have anyone telling us one day that we cannot have it anymore and like a thudding hammer from the sky.. we must be totally detached from it in an instance!
The 'desert'.. is it a test? reward? prelude for something else to come...? So.. perhaps now we understand why its better to be studying the solar system.. we wont get hurt by it, whether too much or too little consumption of it. When we get tired, we'll just sleep it through and dream of the stars.. The nerd has a better life then most of us..
